To underscore its commitment to the adults in our community, the University of Miami offers special tuition to students in the BGS program. This affordable tuition rate will enable adult, part-time students to attend the University.

Financial Aid

Scholarships
Working students may discover that their employer will reimburse them for all or part of their tuition. Please check with your organization's personnel office for details.
Hirsch Scholarship - This scholarship is available for nontraditional students who are at least 45 years of age and are a Bachelor of General Studies student enrolled for 3 - 9 credit hours. Please reach out to your adviser for details.
Osher Reentry Scholarship - Administered through University of Miami Division of Continuing and International Education, the purpose of the Osher Reentry Scholarship program presented by The Bernard Osher Foundation is to provide scholarship grants to assist non-traditional, reentry students with tuition expenses.
